The Ultimate Mulled Rosé Recipe

Paint your Christmas pink this winter with our Mulled Rosé recipe!
This twist on the traditional mulled wine is an absolute crowd-pleaser. The use of rosé wine makes it lighter and brighter than the classic red wine serve, but still as fruity and delicious.
Perfect for those who prefer something a tad less heavy but still crave that cosy, spiced warmth during chilly nights or gatherings with friends and family!

We recommend using our fruit-forward rosé Classic, and serving it in our Partner in Wine x Maison Mirabeau Insulated Rosé Bottle if you’re on the go or meeting friends outdoors!

Ingredients (serves 5)

  •       1 bottle Mirabeau Classic Rosé
  •       50ml Mirabeau Dry Rosé Gin
  •       125ml Pink Grapefruit Juice
  •       100ml Winter Spice Syrup (Monin or homemade)
  •       4 Dashes Peach Bitters
  •       Slices of Pink Grapefruit to garnish

Method

Combine a bottle of Mirabeau Classic Rosé, Mirabeau Dry Rosé Gin, grapefruit juice and winter spice syrup in a saucepan and give them a quick stir. Heat on low heat and leave to simmer for 10 minutes to meld the flavours. Don’t boil it.

Serve in heatproof mugs with a slice of pink grapefruit to garnish.

Did you know that you could make your winter spice syrup at home?

Place in a saucepan 200g golden sugar, 250ml water, 3 cinnamon sticks, 10g sliced fresh ginger, 5 allspice berries, 10 juniper berries, 10 pink peppercorns, 3 star anises, 2 cloves, 1 cardamom pod, and peel from an orange. Put on low heat and leave to simmer for 10 minutes, stirring until the sugar has dissolved and spices have infused. Remove from heat. Once cool, strain into a sterilised bottle and keep in the fridge for up to two weeks.

Cheers!
