How to Upcycle Mirabeau Gin Bottles into Stunning Home Décor

If you’re anything like us, you hate the thought of throwing away gorgeous bottles! So why not try upcycling them at home? It is a great way to reduce waste while adding a stylish touch to your home. With just a bit imagination, you can give bottles a second life by turning them into stunning décor, functional homeware or even into thoughtful handmade gifts!

Here are some of our favourite ways to repurpose our bespoke Dry Rosé Gin bottles (both 70cl & 20cl) to give them a second life:

  • Flower vase
  • Water carafe
  • Candle holder
  • Soap dispenser
  • Fairy light holder
  • Olive oil dispensers
  • Lampshade holder
  • Reed diffuser bottle

Mirabeau Tip:

One of the easiest ways to remove the label from a glass bottle is by soaking it in warm, soapy water. Simply fill a sink or basin with warm water and add a few drops of dish soap. Submerge the bottle for about 30 minutes to loosen the adhesive, then gently peel off the label. For any stubborn residue, use a sponge, baking soda, or a mixture of vinegar and water to scrub it away. This simple method ensures a clean, smooth bottle ready for upcycling!

Why is upcycling important?

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do at Mirabeau. As a proud B Corp, we are committed to making responsible choices at every stage of our products’ lifecycle – including what happens after the last glass of rosé is poured.

Upcycling not only reduces waste but also helps lower our carbon footprint and conserve precious natural resources. By giving our bottles a second life, we extend their journey and minimize the need for new materials. Small actions like these, when embraced by many, can create a meaningful, positive impact on our planet.
