Mirabeau Celebrates Gold Medal at IWC 2016

Mirabeau Classic is one of only three rosés awarded Gold

We are ridiculously excited here in Cotignac today – our Mirabeau Classic Rosé 2015 has been awarded a Gold Medal at this year’s International Wine Challenge, which is the world’s most respected blind-tasted wine competition.

To put this in perspective, more than 400 rosés entered the competition from 27 countries. And the icing on the cake is that Classic has enjoyed success in a second category and is also an IWC Great Value Winner.

Provence has had an excellent vintage in 2015 and we have been able to make more of both of our Mirabeau rosés to increase availability to markets looking for great quality at a fair price.

This latest Gold joins our growing list of esteemed awards and critical acclaim for Classic and Pure around the world – both Mirabeau Rosés have appeared in the Wine Advocate’s Top 10 for the past two years and both scored 90 points in Decanter Magazine.

We also want to extend our congratulations to other producers celebrating IWC Medal wins today.
