Vinous Ratings: Etoile Gets 93 Points!

We’re thrilled with the great results of our Côtes de Provence rosé wines that were recently reviewed and scored by Josh Raynolds of Vinous.

90 Points – Mirabeau Classic Rosé

“Brilliant salmon skin. Lively, mineral-accented red berry and blood orange aromas, along with a subtle floral element that gains power with aeration. Juicy and focused on the palate, showing gently sweet strawberry and tangerine flavors and a touch of spicy white pepper. Concentrated yet lithe, delivering nervy finishing cut and leaving a sappy red fruit note behind.”

92 Points – Rosé Pure Provence

“Light bright orange. Highly perfumed, mineral-tinged red berry and pit fruit scents, along with suggestions of honeysuckle and orange zest. Smooth and energetic on the palate, offering juicy raspberry and nectarine flavors that spread out steadily on the back half. Powerful yet graceful in style, showing impressive energy and minerally thrust on the persistent finish, which leaves behind zesty red berry and citrus fruit notes.”

93 Points – Rosé Etoile

“Vivid orange-pink. Potent, mineral-accented blood orange, red currant and nectarine aromas are complemented by suggestions of succulent flowers and herbs. Penetrating and energetic in the mouth, offering sappy red berry, citrus and pit fruit flavors. A spine of juicy acidity adds structure and back-end lift. Deftly plays power off finesse, closing minerally and extremely long, with resonating floral and pit fruit notes.”
